Mission Crossbows shooters recently dominated the final ASA Pro/Am of the season in Metropolis, Illinois, sweeping the podium and capturing ASA Shooter of the Year. This podium sweep completes a perfect record for Mission Crossbows this season, claiming 18 of 18 podium spots (six events).
Jason Wilkins took first place in the Metropolis event with his Mission Crossbow, clinching his spot as 2019 ASA Shooter of the Year in the crossbow division. His teammates Matt Miller and Daniel Zintgraff finished second and third.
“This season was a lot of fun,” said Wilkins. “I competed with some great guys and was fortunate enough to have great equipment to help me win the 2019 Shooter of the Year. The consistency and accuracy of Mission Crossbows is truly unmatched.”
The ASA tournament tour consists of six tournaments across the country. Crossbow competitors shoot two rounds of 20 targets, with targets that vary in distance up to 45 yards. The highest scores after the two rounds determines first, second and third. The shooter with the most points after all six ASA events is named Shooter of the Year.
