The 37-second YouTube clip below will likely bring back a memory or two from archery shop employees with years of experience. Some customers simply can’t avoid DIY temptations, and while it’s one thing to add Stealth Strips to quiet a bow shelf, a project such as repainting an entire bow riser and cams is on another level.

Below you’ll see Josh Jones (aka MFJJ) of Podium Archer (Spokane Valley Archery) react to Tim Connor’s DIY paint job. Whose side are you on? Did Tim do a decent job, or is Josh correct that the new finish looks like “hot garbage?”
